Three Estimates on Medicaid Savings Audited by State Auditor
State Auditor Mary Mossman reviewed prior estimates of Iowa Medicaid program savings. The Governor’s Office cited 234 million dollars in January 2017, the Iowa Department in November 2017 claimed 47 million, and the Iowa Department in May 2018 claimed 141 million.
