Desperate EPIRB Signals From Gulf of Alaska Rescue
In a brutal Gulf of Alaska storm on January 30 1998 the La Conte founder skipper Mark Morley and crew abandon ship after a rogue wave hurls the 77 foot western rig. With pumps failed and the boat sinking they form a human chain and jump into icy seas as COSPAS SARSAT EPIRB signals relay the distress to Coast Guard in Juneau.
