Serbs press delay in Sarajevo reunification talks
NATO commander Admiral Leighton Smith met Bosnian Serb leaders in Pale and faced a demand to delay reunification of Sarajevo by up to a year to ease Serb fear of Muslim rule. Serb leader Momcilo Krajisnik said nine months to a year would be needed. In Bosnia, U S forces conducted a symbolic convoy in Posavina Corridor advancing peacekeeping readiness with Bradley vehicles and planned pontoon bridge over the Sava River.
