Special to The Gazette Columbus Junction reports funeral services for Mrs. Edwin Lins 55 died Thursday at her home seven miles northwest of Columbus Junction conducted in the Methodist church at Ainsworth by Rev C E Coggeshell burial in Elm Grove cemetery Washingon. Surviving are her husband and two sons Richard Iowa City and Howard at home. The Post high school Sunday school class of Methodist church Brandon held a party at Thelma Davis home west of town with new officers elected President Ruth Bender vice president Mrs Van Fleet secretary treasurer Helen Hausner. Faces Charges Of Reckless Driving And No License
E. J. Gordon, 43, of 224 Third Avenue SW, arrested by Highway Patrolman James Gildroy at 12:35 a.m. Sunday on reckless driving and no operator's license charges. Rex L. Root, 27, of the same address, held on a state intoxication charge. They were found in Gordon's car on First Street between Eighth and Tenth SE. Root sat behind the wheel as the motor was killed. Both were remanded to the city jail.
