Kashs ethics complaints dismissed by Cedar Rapids board
Two ethics complaints by Robin Kash against Cedar Rapids officials were dismissed for lack of specific facts. Board chair Bob Teig said the case did not show an ethical violation under city rules while noting the board’s narrow mandate and considering possible ordinance amendments. Kash, who lost the District 3 council race to Pat Shey, had questioned the City Attorney’s role and disclosed investors behind a warehouse project's incentives.
