The Gazette Co. sold its 500 512 Third Ave SE building dating to 1923 to downtown developer Steve Emerson. Emerson plans to demolish the back loading dock for a parking lot then renovate the 1923 section to lease back to The Gazette for Fusionfarm Marketing Services. The merged newsroom will move to the nearby KCRG building as Iowa Source Media Group signage goes up.
