Santa letters fuel Lions Club Christmas drive in Pahrump
In Nye County Nevada the Pahrump Valley Lions Club runs an annual Letters to Santa program. Larry Bai, 60, replies to children who include return addresses, while his wife Sue budgets about 100 gift requests. With high unemployment, donations are down and many families struggle to provide gifts, prompting careful shopping and even cutting older children from the wish list.
