Taps review finds fault with belief suspension
A Harold Becker directed 1981 drama starring Timothy Hutton George C Scott and Ronny Cox at the Plaza Theatre carries a PG rating. The film centers on a military academy facing closure and a cadet led mutiny against the National Guard with strong performances but a central implausible premise that may limit its appeal.

Neighbors film review quotients stray from laughs
Movie review of Neighbors directed by Zanuck and Brown notes a premise based on a Thomas Berger novel. Belushi and Aykroyd play the mismatched neighbors whose antics test Earl Reese and his wife Enid as misunderstandings and abrupt shifts in character unfold. The piece cites uneven laughs and weak plotting, concluding the film is disappointing.
