Solon approves water link for Gallery Acres West
Solon City Council voted 4 1 with Lauren Whitehead opposing to allow Gallery Acres West housing near Lake Macbride Golf Course to connect to the municipal water plant via about a 3 mile pipe. The project secures a 75 percent forgivable loan of 1.04 million dollars with a 1.75 percent interest rate for the association to cover the remainder, while officials plan an 8 inch pipe and a future rate structure to avoid undue city costs.
