Crandic Mayor Election Sparks Local Lively Campaign

Vincent Dvorak led a mock election at Crandic with about 30 votes from Crandic and neighboring workers. John Miller won as mayor with Henry Haegg as streets commissioner and Harry Cohn as finance commissioner. Bill Porter as chief of police, all serving in a railroading community. Miller, a 42 year Crandic veteran, also holds multiple rail roles and resides at 1205 Eleventh Street SW.
