Wilma Wokoun 27 of 1532 Fourth Avenue SE Cedar Rapids shot herself in the heart with a .32 revolver about 3 p.m. Monday. Coroner R A Vorpahl cited despondency over ill health and family finances. The body found at 4 p.m. by her father Louis Wokoun. The revolver contained two shells, one exploded. The gun had long been in the family. She had cared for Olive and Oliver, 17, twins in Washington high school, since her mother died in 1906 and her stepmother four years prior. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Marta's funeral home.
