At the Iowa Capitol visitors view a Nativity scene and a Bill of Rights display. The Thomas More Society and American Nativity Scene group installed a private manger in the rotunda, while the Freedom From Religion Foundation placed a Bill of Rights diorama with champions of secularism. Both displays are temporary and were placed under contracts with the Iowa Department of Administrative Services, with insurance required for state protection. Gov. Reynolds and Rep. Hanusa attended the ceremony noting the Capitol welcomes diverse faiths and traditions.
