Vaclav Havel dies at 75 symbol of Czech democracy

Vaclav Havel longtime dissident playwright and first post communist Czech president died Sunday at his weekend home in the northern Czech Republic. He was 75 and had lung cancer in recent months. Mourners laid flowers at his Prague villa as a black mourning flag flew over Prague Castle and a monument to the Velvet Revolution was remembered in downtown Prague.
