Corridor Foundation funds student field trips via Cedar Rapids district
Hills Bank and Trust Company donated 10000 to the Cedar Rapids Community Schools Foundation to support the Kids in the Community field trip program. A total of 68 field trip grants were awarded to schools benefiting over 4000 students including multiple elementary and high schools across the district. HIAWATHA The City Council advanced the Robins Road Boyson Road project by purchasing land worth 170000 at 195 Boyson Road owned by Philip and Judith Palmer. The parcel aids stormwater management with construction possibly starting next summer and completion targeted for 2013. Linn County seeks applicants for two five year seats on the Planning and Zoning Commission with applications due December 30.
