High School Newspaper Raises Budget With Ad Pamphlet
Washington High School journalism students produced a 16 page advertising pamphlet that boosted The Surveyor budget by 750 dollars. The project trained students to solicit and design ads while addressing a 3000 dollar annual appropriation and rising costs. A local publisher offered jobs based on the finished work, giving the effort extra meaning.
