Undetermined death of Cedar River man near Mt Vernon
Allen Lee Strickland 35 of Cedar Rapids was found in the Cedar River near the Highway 1 bridge in rural Mt Vernon. The State Medical Examiner ruled the cause undetermined with findings of ethanol intoxication and a blood alcohol content of 0.640 percent. The case is closed.
