Frankville Reconsiders Public Water System Plan

Frankville may pursue a village water system for the first time in decades. USDA official Dennis Henke told the Winnebago County Supervisors residents showed interest in a possible project, with Frankville wells reportedly testing high for chloroform bacteria. A town meeting would gauge interest and surveys would assess income to determine grant eligibility with a county sponsor. Residents would be required to hook up to the system to cover operation costs.
