Study Unit Probes Year Delay for Property Tax Rollback

A Des Moines legislative study committee recommended a one year 20 percent rollback of property valuations to soften the 30.6 percent increase ordered by the state revenue department. IDOT Charts $500 Million Five Year Highway Plan

Judges Halt Cross-Boundary School Busing in Iowa

Three federal judges permanently enjoined Iowa from using public funds for transporting students to nonpublic church- or private-controlled schools across district lines.
