G C Wheeler, son of Mr and Mrs G C Wheeler of 370 Nineteenth Street SE, is named on the scholastic honor roll for the full session at Western Military Academy in Alton Illinois. Wheeler ranks among the top ten students and earned a letter as halfback on the undefeated B team, which won the ABC league championship in St. Louis.

Field men from Iowa and surrounding states attended the Iowa Mutuals annual conference at the home office on Second Avenue SE. General Manager H L Nehls stated all departments showed expansion and year end financials should show increases in premium writings admitted assets and policy holder surpluses. He predicted 1936 would surpass 1935 as the biggest year in Iowa Mutual history. About twenty five men attended plus wives and guests at luncheon.
