Home building runs deep in this family
Lawrence Schwers grew up on a rural New Vienna farm and chose construction over farming. He built Lawrence Schwers Construction after serving in the Army, with brothers joining him in the family business that spans from Dubuque to Sabula and beyond. He emphasizes housing as essential and notes his clan’s strong ties to the trade.
