City Agencies Will Require More Money
Stewart Shank told the city council that 920 500 additional funds must be appropriated to 15 departments to finish 1966 in the black. The money will come from unappropriated cash and will not change the tax levy. The list covers city hall arborist police signal sewage rental memorial airport library park waterworks and more with causes from sandblasting to new equipment and expected revenue gaps. A public hearing on December 28 will consider the appropriation plan.
