Its collection includes 609 telephone directories covering most U S metropolitan areas and many nearby communities, plus foreign directories. Ditched But Pilot Had To Inflate Own Raft
Robert Tromblee of Mequon Wisconsin ditched his vine engine plane over Lake Michigan after a fire aboard. A Muskegon coast guard boat and Civil Air Patrol planes rescued him as his life raft failed to inflate properly. He was hospitalized in Muskegon.
