Decrease Seen in Christmas Help Demand in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids officials report a possible drop in Christmas aid requests with about 350 applications received so far, amid a coordinated effort by the Community Christmas Planning committee and the Christmas Exchange. Last year 446 families received aid after 81 duplicates were removed, with three main projects guiding donations and avoiding duplication.
