Cedar Rapids man gets 379 months for gun drug offenses
Cedar Rapids resident David Taday Heard, 40, was sentenced by US District Judge Linda Reade to 379 months in federal prison after a January jury found him guilty of felon in possession of a firearm and a stolen gun, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, and firearm use in a drug crime. He dumped a loaded pistol and marijuana after a July 30, 2017 crash on Redbud Road.
