UI Hospitals Settle Negligence Claims Over Brain Surgery and Implants
The University of Iowa Health Care group will pay 7800000 to settle two lawsuits alleging negligence by providers. One suit targets a otolaryngologist for brain surgery without a neurosurgeon and another accuses a plastic surgeon of a botched breast reconstruction.
