UI reassigned athletics official to oversee construction projects
Iowa City UI officials say associate athletics director Jane Meyer will join UI Facilities Management to supervise construction contract quality and project compliance. The move, approved after a threatened wrongful termination lawsuit by Meyer's partner Tracey Griesbaum, aims to separate athletics from facilities work during the case. Meyer will keep a $173,154 salary and handle design phase reviews, change orders, and project closeouts.
