Farewell to an Old House in Springville Open House Planned
The Springville Historical Society sponsors a Sunday open house from 1 to 3 p.m. at 158 Fifth St. N. to bid farewell before the home is razed. The event, in cooperation with the Springville Community School District, invites residents to share memories of the house built before 1923 and long tied to the Safley family. A memory book will be available and visitors are asked to dress warmly due to no heat in the house.
