Police say a 30 year old Cedar Rapids man Gerald Anderson fled from officers during a muffler stop on Eighth Avenue SW 8 30 pm and ran toward the Cedar Rapids Police Station near the river. Five officers helped with the arrest. He is charged with interference with official acts at Linn County Jail.
