Man Held After Springville Stabbing of Uncle
In Springville a 20 year old man Jacob E. Thomas is jailed on willful injury charges after stabbing his 38 year old uncle Glen Thomas Jr. with a pocket knife during an argument. The elder Thomas is in fair condition with two back stab wounds at Mercy Medical Center Cedar Rapids. Deputies found Jacob Thomas on First Avenue and arrested him without incident. He allegedly threw the knife into a creek.
