Early Christmas dinner served by Salvation Army volunteers
About 400 senior citizens attended an early Christmas dinner at the Salvation Army Community Center on C Ave NW. Volunteer Bob Mamula poured coffee for Mildred Lust and others while his wife assisted. portions were donated and all meals prepared and served by volunteers. Musicians and dancers from the Boddicker School performed after the meal.

Bedspread blamed in house fire
