Sleigh Bells Jingle Across Jerome Home Collecting Tour

A year into expanding their sleigh bell collection at 1701 Seventh Avenue SE, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome display bells from Russia, Switzerland, Sweden and the U‑S. The trove spans door mounts to walnut bases with bells ranging from piano to bass tones, telling a history of harness and winter travel. The couple notes bells were once bought by the pound and warn travelers when roads were shared at night. A stray cow bell from Switzerland adds to the storied treasury and is heard faintly miles away.
