Man on motorcycle dies after police chase in Cedar Rapids
Lewis McColley 29 of Cedar Rapids died from injuries after crashing a 1979 Yamaha motorcycle into a 2018 Forest River bus as he fled Cedar Rapids police. He was helmetless, not wearing a license plate, and was thrown from the bike near Ellis Boulevard and O Avenue NW. The bus driver, Mark Campbell 63, was uninjured. The case remains under investigation by Cedar Rapids Police and Linn County Sheriff's Office.

Semi Driver Dies In Fiery I 80 Crash Near Tiffin
A 2022 Freightliner semi traveling west on I 80 near mile marker 236 left the interstate, struck a ditch tree and caught fire. The driver died in the blaze in the early morning crash. The name has not been released by authorities.
