Shelby, a 5-foot-10 junior guard, signed an NLI to play for NCAA Division I Wayne State University. He averaged 21.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, earning second-team Class 3A all-state honors as he helped the Indians win the Wamac Conference title.
