Brooklyn treasurer Mac McAllister retires after 53 years
Floyd MacAllister, age 85, ends his 53 year run as Brooklyn city treasurer. Annette Minnaert to take over as city finances grow from a few dollars to a 1.7 million dollar budget. Mac recalls starting in 1932, helping expand from one to three books, and shaping local utilities, bank career, and Brooklyn golf club roots.
