Ullman Recovers After Car Accident Costs Lawmaker Leg

Rep. Al Ullman of Oregon lost his left leg in a freak accident in Stephens City Virginia. Doctors amputated the leg after it was nearly severed when a rattling door swung open during high wind, causing the car to veer into a ditch and throw him out.
