Marion Neighbor Charlie Dye Keeps Classic Cars Alive
Charlie Dye, 83, longtime Marion mechanic with 64 years of tinkering, recalls starting with Model T's in 1916 and running a Seventh Avenue shop. He distrusts modern cars with plastic, gadgets, and fuel waste, preferring a well built older vehicle and a blunt, upfront approach with customers.
