Two Cedar Rapids men face federal bank robbery charges
Monte Dochterm an 20 and William Givens 36 were charged in a FBI complaint with the armed robbery of Bohemian Savings and Loan on Mt. Vernon Road SE last Nov. 29. Dochterman aided in the hold up and authorities say Givens used a .25 caliber pistol to seize cash and the teller’s purse, while Dochterman taped the teller. Both are jailed in Linn County with bonds totaling 120125 and 100125 respectively, and face additional counts including resisting an officer and forged instruments.
