Emmons Bond Question Halts Linn County Supervisors

Democratic Supervisor Anthony Scolaro argued Emmons did not properly qualify due to a bond issue, prompting debate over two shelved actions: a zoning change for a ready mix plant south of Central City and courthouse closure the Friday after Thanksgiving. Henderson abstained on the zoning vote, and Emmons’ status sparked calls for a fresh bond and reappointment.
