Coralville to reopen Fifth Street with widened bridge
Coralville expects Fifth Street to reopen this month after delays from utility moves and other issues. The project on the corridor between First and Tenth avenues includes lighting upgrades widening and elevating the Biscuits Creek bridge and cost 3.2 million dollars. Mayor John Lundell says the effort aims to revitalize the street and turn it into a corridor with historic sites like the Old Town Hall and 1876 Schoolhouse nearby.
