Cedar Rapids woman injured after car hits train
Judith Sisco, 45, of Cedar Rapids, was injured Friday morning when her car struck a southbound Illinois Central locomotive on Canadian National tracks west of North Mentzer Road. She was taken to Mercy Medical Center and then to University Hospitals Iowa City for non life threatening injuries. The crash blocked County Home Road for about 30 minutes and is under investigation.

Cedar Rapids man found after five hour field search
Bryan Huber, 42, was found cold, wet and intoxicated following a five hour rural search near the Iowa Benton county line. He hid in a field after leaving a residence on F Avenue amid a disagreement with his girlfriend. He later said he twisted his ankle and was treated for exposure before being turned over to deputies.

Toddler falls from moving car seat in Cedar Rapids incident
A 3 year old girl was bounced out of a stationary vehicle after she pulled the car’s stick shift in Cedar Rapids. The seat became lodged under the car as her brother alerted their maintenance worker father. She was treated and released from St Luke's Hospital.
