Alliant Energy plans $400 million efficient energy programs
The Iowa Utilities Board approved a five year plan for Alliant Energy to invest over $400 million in energy efficient programs starting January 1. The plan adds 25 programs including home energy audits insulation rebates LED options and commercial incentives. The Iowa Environmental Council urged tougher goals while noting the plan removes the solar incentive.
