William Harrison Givens and Monte Theodore Dochterman were charged Friday night with armed robbery at the Bohemian Savings and Loan branch on Mt. Vernon road SE. Bond was set at 100000 each. both men held in county jail after Friday arrest. The robbery occurred Monday when two men entered the bank, forced a female teller to surrender cash under $1000 taken, and one robber displayed a handgun but did not use it. The teller activated the alarm. robbery believed to be the bank’s first in city history. Dochterman faces four counts of uttering forged instruments and resisting an officer. Givens faces additional charges including resisting an officer.
