Kennedy to Visit White House. TV Coverage Planned

President elect John F. Kennedy will call on President Eisenhower next Tuesday morning in a formal White House meeting. NBC and CBS will carry live television of the public portion from 9 to 10 a.m. EST as guard units line the north portico. Further details of the meeting were to be arranged.

Four Boys Die in Cleveland N Y House Fire

A night visit by Cub Scout and kindergarten friends ended in tragedy as a fire swept a central New York home killing four boys. The victims include John T 9 James C 10 L Scott Corcoran 5 and Dale Morse 5. Danny Morse 9 escaped with burns and Bill Corcoran 13 sprained an ankle after leaping from an upstairs bedroom.

Olin Residents Hurt in Gravel-Road Mishap

Three people from Olin were injured Saturday when a pickup overturned in a ditch on a gravel road between Anamosa and Olin. Alfred Moore 59 fractured right leg. Harlan Moore 35 torn right shoulder ligaments and possible head injuries. Mrs Harlan Moore back injuries and possible head injuries. All were transported to St Luke’s hospital in Cedar Rapids. Alfred Moore in fairly good condition. Harlan Moore and wife in fair condition by Saturday night.
