Third sentencing attempt ends with consecutive terms for Denin Null
In Linn County Iowa judge Ian Thornhill again imposes consecutive 50 year second-degree murder and 25 year first-degree robbery terms for Denin Null the former juvenile offender now 23. Null was 16 at the crime in Cedar Rapids 2010 and is incarcerated at Anamosa State Penitentiary. The ruling follows appeals over life-without-parole bans and mandatory minimums affecting his case.
