Burlington woman loses foot in train accident
A Burlington woman, Sudene Forrester, 23, had her foot severed and her leg crushed after being struck by an Amtrak train at the Burlington depot on Thanksgiving. She waited with her three children for a Chicago-bound train. the infant was hospitalized with minor injuries, and the other two children were picked up by relatives.
