The Iowa Department of Education provides counts of districts by enrollment bands. Sub 255 students appear in 26 districts, 250 to 399 in 54, 400 to 599 in 74, 600 to 999 in 104, 1,000 to 2,499 in 83, 2,500 to 7,499 in 24, and 7,500 or more in 9.
