Universal plans a worldwide rollout of Jaws this season in 44 nations and 700 theaters. The film, already a US box office leader, will open with distinct local titles in markets such as Teeth of the Sea in France and Jaws of Death in Denmark.

Keith Richard of the Rolling Stones forfeited a 163.50 bond after missing a municipal court appearance on a reckless driving charge in Fordyce Arkansas. A separate weapon charge was dismissed by Municipal Judge Thomas Wynne after Richard’s attorney argued the weapon was carried on a journey. Richard and three companions were en route from Memphis to a Dallas show when stopped.
