Christmas Home Lighting Contest Plans Completed
The three judges for the 1950 Christmas home lighting contest will be Palette club members of Cedar Rapids. Sponsored by the Playground and Recreation Commission and the Iowa Electric Light and Power Company, judging spans between Christmas and New Year’s with citywide districts awarding first to third prizes and a grand city champ. Entries must be in by 5 p.m. December 22 at the recreation office 601 City Hall.
