Coralville Woman Pleads Not Guilty in Fatal Fire
Lil lie Williams, 49, entered a written plea of not guilty to first degree murder in Johnson County District Court. Prosecutors say she knowingly set fire to a Coralville home at 720 11th Ave. in September, causing smoke inhalation deaths of 14 year old Raymone Bryant. Williams remains jailed on a $1 million bond. trial date not set.

Iowa City man sentenced for child pornography charges
Monte J. Brummer, 58, was sentenced in Davenport to six years in prison for receiving and distributing child pornography. He faces five years of supervised release after prison. Authorities seized three computers with 46 videos and over 500 images during a 2009 search. An FBI agent in Arizona traced the material to Brummer via a file sharing network. Brummer admitted a decade of browsing to collect child adult material but said he had no contact with a child.
