Blind-friendly computers spark a Braille printing industry
In 1969 at the University of Dayton a blind programmer inspired a new device to emboss Braille from computer output. Carbonneau and two colleagues reworked an old teletype into Braille printers and founded Triformation Systems, later moving to Stuart Florida with venture funding.
